Summer School: Civic Education School, Kosovo‏

International Progressive Education cordially invites Kosovar high school students from respective regions of Prishtina, Mitrovica and Prizren to apply for Civic Education School (CES).

The CES will bring together twenty five (25) students from various ethnic backgrounds and will provide lectures on core elements of civic education. Through various delivery practices such as lectures, presentations, study visits, interactive discussions, role-playing games, and multicultural group events, the students will examine and understand the concepts of:

1) State Building and Democracy
2) Community Service and Activism
3) Diversity and Inter-Ethnic Cooperation
4) Human Rights

The completion of every learning module will be followed by student generated projects and activities that will enable them to experience the power of activism and collective effort. Participants will be reimbursed for all school travel expenses.
