The First International Interdisciplinary Conference for Young Scholars in Social Sciences and Humanities

CONTEXTS

The Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, proudly announces the First International Interdisciplinary Conference for Young Scholars in Social Sciences and Humanities Contexts, which is to be held on 1st December 2012 to celebrate the Day of the Faculty of Philosophy. Since the Conference will be an excellent opportunity for young scholars to have a day of intellectual debate, cultural experience and networking, we welcome the proposals from doctoral students for papers on the main topic of Contexts. Topics might include the following areas of study:


• Linguistic Studies
• Literature Studies
• Psychology
• Pedagogy
• History
• Philosophy
• Sociology
• Media Studies


The applications should be submitted by fulfilling an electronic form which will soon be available on the website of the Faculty of Philosophy (http://www.ff.uns.ac.rs/fakultet/fakultet_konferencije.html) or by sending the completed form in .doc format not later than 1st September 2012 to konteksti@ff.uns.ac.rs. The applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
We accept papers in Serbian, English, German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Hungarian, Romanian, Ruthenian, Slovak and other languages which are studied at the Faculty of Philosophy. All eligible applicants will get a notice of acceptance by 15th October 2012.
The papers are to be sent on the abovementioned e-mail address not later than 1st February 2013. A selection of peer-reviewed papers will be published in the electronic Book of Proceedings that is to be published after the Conference. The style sheet for preparing the papers will soon be available at the website of the Conference. More information about the programme of the Conference will be sent to applicants via e-mail.
